This is the second time we have eaten there and it will be the last. We arrived on time with reservations and our table was given away. We sat at the bar for a half hour before being seated. Then we were not given menus we had to ask. We ordered and then waited 30 minutes for our appetizers. We noticed that none of our fellow patrons were eating. One table walked out and there was not a waiter or busboy to be seen. When food started coming out of the kitchen (not ours) the entire dining room applauded. Our meals arrived at 10 after being seated at 8. The food was either overcooked or undercooked. There was no explanation given or a glass of wine or anything to smooth over the situation. We will never go back.

I was just there last night and the food as always was great. I had dover sole which is one of their specialties and they never leave me wanting. The restaurant is a short drive from my law office.

Cafe La Strada is an old fashioned italian restaurant. The food is good, and the servers are friendly.

Basic american italian food, nothing fancy. expensive if you cosider the quality and size of the dishes. expect to pay 16.50USD for a cesar salad with chicken.
